About the Tucson University Area Beauty School
The Central Tucson, AZ, Empire Beauty School is situated on the southwest corner of East Speedway Boulevard and North Country Club Road and 1.8 miles east of the University of Arizona.
The Central Tucson Empire Beauty School s been training cosmetology students for careers in the beauty business since 2000 at this state-of-the-art school. Public transportation is available for students, as well as available parking near the school. There are numerous shopping areas such as the Park Place Mall and local restaurants including Fresco Pizza, La Salsa, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Arby's, and Saga Sushi.

The Tucson University Area Empire Beauty School students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own school’s events, to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to beauty industry leaders, one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and the opportunity to interview with prospective employers.

Community Involvement
The Central Tucson Empire Beauty School students are offered additional real-world training and education as they participate in special events, such as fashion shows, beauty shows, competitions, fundraising events, community involvement, and more. The students also participate in Empire's National Day of Beauty event, which benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own events to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo allows students to gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders. The Central Tucson cosmetology school hosts their own graduation ceremonies and open house celebrations. Flexible evening classes are available at this location.
