About the Harrisburg Beauty School
Located on Jonestown Road south of the Colonial Park Mall, the Harrisburg Empire Beauty School offers a comprehensive cosmetology program at this state-of-the-art campus.
The Harrisburg beauty school has been educating future beauty professionals for a number of years. Parking near the school is available. Students also have access to public transportation through CAT Transit and Capital Taxi services. Capital Gas, 7-Eleven and additional gas stations are available for commuting students near the school. Several day care centers are also in the vicinity of our beauty school, such as Crosspoint United Methodist Church, Child Care Network, Hansel and Gretel Early Learning Centers, and Capital Area Head Start. Enjoy the urban area of Pennsylvania's state capital, where cultural events, art shows, boating and kayaking line this picturesque city. Nearby restaurants include Roberto's Pizza, Dunkin Donuts, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Applebee's, Taco Bell, Arby's, and many more local eateries.

The Harrisburg Empire Beauty School students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own school’s events, to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to beauty industry leaders, one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and the opportunity to interview with prospective employers.

Community Involvement
Harrisburg Empire Beauty School students routinely participate in community events which support their hands-on training such as performing a day of beauty services for local patrons. The proceeds benefit raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students of the school also offer their services to raise funds and awareness for children in need in their community through Cut-A-Thons and other special events. The students have the opportunity to participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own beauty shows to highlight their skills and talents.
