About the Moosic Wilkes Barre Scranton Beauty School
Empire Beauty School of Wyoming Valley, PA, is located on Birney Avenue in the Birney Mall facility and just a couple of miles off of I-81, just off of Route 11 North.
The Wyoming Valley beauty school has been training cosmetology students since 2002. There is plenty of free parking and students have access to public transportation, a bus stops right in front of the Birney Plaza where the school is situated. Local eateries are within walking distance such as Dino's, McDonald's and a Turkey Hill gas station. Take in a show or a concert at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain and see acts like Coldplay, New Kids on the Block and more. Local day care facilities include A Bright Future Learning Center and Little Tinkers Children Center Inc.

The Moosic Wilkes Barre Scranton Empire Beauty School students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own school’s events, to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to beauty industry leaders, one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and the opportunity to interview with prospective employers.

Community Involvement
Wyoming Valley Empire Beauty School students participate in community events which support their hands-on training such as performing a day of beauty services for local patrons. The proceeds benefit raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also have the opportunity to participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own beauty shows to highlight their skills and talents. Students continue to gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one on one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders at Empire Education Group's annual Future Professionals Expo.
Success Stories
Erin graduated from both the Cosmetology and Cosmetoilogy Educator programs, and finished top 10 nationally in Empire's Future Propfessionals Expo Long Hair Competition.
