About the Philadelphia Northeast Beauty School
Home to the historic Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, Philadelphia is also home to the Northeast Empire Beauty School, situated in the Knights Road Shopping Center on Woodhaven Road.
The recently renovated Philadelphia location has been producing cosmetology students for successful careers as future professionals in the beauty industry for a number of years. There is plenty of free parking near the school and students have access to public transportation by way of SEPTA. Near the school and around historic Philadelphia there are local eateries and shopping areas such as The Franklin Mills Mall, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, pizza restaurants, and more.

The Philadelphia Northeast Empire Beauty School students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own school’s events, to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to beauty industry leaders, one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and the opportunity to interview with prospective employers.

Northeast Philadelphia Empire Beauty School students participate in community events which support their hands-on training. Additionally, the students perform a day of beauty services for local patrons. The proceeds of this special event benefit raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also hold special events at the school such as hair and fashion shows, graduation ceremonies, as well as the opportunity to participate in local and national competitions to highlight their skills and talents. Students gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one on one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders during Empire's Future Professionals Expo.
