Some of these events include day of beauty services for local patrons, fundraising benefits and more. Proceeds from Empire's National Day of Beauty even benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also may participate in local and national competitions, as well as the school's own beauty shows to highlight the students' skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to the beauty industry, the one-on-one experience with beauty professionals during mentoring workshops and students also are able to network and interview with salon leaders and representatives to further their career objectives.
