The Lakewood, CO, Empire Beauty School can be found two blocks south of 6th Avenue on the west side of North Wadsworth Boulevard (CO-121) across from Wal-Mart Supercenter.

The Lakewood, CO, Empire Beauty School has been preparing future beauty professionals for careers in the beauty industry since 2000 at this state-of-the-art school. Parking for commuting students is available as well as public transportation from RTD regional Transportation District, Metro Taxi, and Yellow Cab. Local shopping and restaurants near the school include Black Eyed Pea, Santiag Mexican Restaurant, Blimpie, Subs and Salads, Dominos Pizza, King Soopers, Safeway, and the Belmar Shopping Center. Child care centers are also within close proximity of the school such as Carousel Child Care, Oak Street Child development Center, Trinity Place Child Care Centers, Child Care Partners, and Jefferson County Child Care Association.

The Lakewood Empire Beauty School students gain additional real-world training and education as they participate in special events, such as fashion shows, beauty shows, competitions, fundraising events, community involvement, and more. The students also participate in Empire's National Day of Beauty event, which benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students have the opportunity to participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own events to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo allows students to gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders. The Colorado Empire Beauty School hosts their own graduation ceremonies and open house celebrations. Flexible evening classes are available at this location.
