Empire Beauty Schools take contributing to the community very seriously. In fact, all students are required to take part in the Cut It Out program. This public service is meant to help victims of domestic violence, and hopefully reduce domestic abuse.
Cosmetology clients often have close relationships with their hair dressers, so it’s important that we look out for each other, especially if the client mentions the possibility of abuse. All Empire students are trained on how to look for signs of violence and how to approach the subject with their clients.
In addition to taking part in the Cut It Out program, Empire has other events that help out the community, and even have fund raising events for local women’s shelters.
