Scot Lewis Beauty Schools Join

Empire Education Group and Curriculum

Our beauty schools are unlike any others—in ways that will be very valuable to you. Our competitive advantages not only make our schools the best, they make our students the best. And we focus solely on our students, creating an educational experience that they truly enjoy.

1. CLiC (Certified Learning in Cosmetology) allows you to learn by seeing and doing, and it’s only available at our Empire schools.

2. TeamBoards and digital textbooks make learning easier because it’s more interactive and visual.

3. Empire’s Future Professionals Expo introduces you to the beauty industry, where you’ll learn from top stylists, interview with prospective employers and compete for great prizes.

4. Empire’s strategic partnership with Regis—with more than 12,000 salons—provides an extensive network of employment opportunities.

5. At Empire, it’s not just an education…it’s an experience. We think you’ll embrace our comfortable and enriching culture.

Scot Lewis Schools, located in Bloomington, Eden Prairie and St. Paul, Minnesota, have officially moved to the Empire Beauty School brand and curriculum. Empire Beauty School also opened a new location in the Spring Lake Park/Fridley area, adding to the number of convenient Empire Beauty School locations in the state of Minnesota.

The Minnesota schools now join the former Arthur Angelo and A Cut Above schools in Empire Education Group’s efforts to transition the additional beauty schools acquired during the August 2007 merger with the school division of the Regis Corporation.

Licensed in the state of Minnesota and certified by the U.S. Department of Education, the schools are eligible to participate in the Title IV Financial Aid programs. The schools are also accredited by NACCAS (The National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, Inc) and uphold to strict standards to maintain accreditation criteria.

As part of the conversion to the Empire Beauty School system, the schools have been newly outfitted with Empire’s exclusive educational curriculum, CLiC (Certified Learning in Cosmetology). Additionally, all the schools will be equipped with the latest learning tools and state-of-the-art TeamBoards and NxtBook technology. These improved methods of teaching will offer students a visually appealing and interactive means to their cosmetology education.
