Pierre’s School of Cosmetology Moves to Empire Beauty School Brand

October 22, 2008-Pierre’s School of Cosmetology in Maine has officially transitioned to the Empire Beauty School brand. The former Pierre’s Schools are located in Bangor, Caribou, Portland, and Waterville and will also adapt to the Empire cosmetology curriculum.

During the transition, Maine’s newly branded Empire Beauty Schools will effectively utilize Empire’s CLiC (Certified Learning in Cosmetology) educational system. The CLiC curriculum is exclusive to Empire Beauty Schools and incorporates a thorough cosmetology training program. The former Pierre’s schools will also implement additional advanced training techniques for the schools beauty students through TeamBoard and NxtBook technology. These interactive and state-of-the-art advancements in teaching offer the students value-added tools toward their education.

The former Pierre’s Schools are accredited by The National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, Inc; (NACCAS). The schools are licensed in the state of Maine and are by certified by the U.S. Department of Education and eligible to participate in the Title IV Financial Aid programs.

Empire Education Group acquired the school division of the Regis Corporation in August of 2007 during a merger between the two organizations. Empire Education Group has since transitioned several of the individual Regis Schools to the Empire Beauty School brand and educational program.
