Paradise Valley Donates Funds to Chrysalis During Event

The Paradise Valley Empire Beauty School began their 100 Days of Empire Open House celebration with a donation to Chrysalis- Phoenix. The students raised $1339.00 for the shelter during National Day of Beauty in

October. The celebration didn’t end there as the school hosted a Valentine’s Day theme competition. The celebration didn’t end there as the school hosted a Valentine’s Day theme competition. The senior level and 360 students combined

their efforts to create make overs on live models and showed off their skills by designing romantic hair styles and sophisticated updos. The winners of the contest were given Beauty Bucks which they could use toward hair or skin products.

All the students in the school then created beautiful updos on their mannequins,paradise-valley-2

which were put on display outside of the school. There were refreshments for all attendees as the students were busy on the salon floor providing complimentary haircuts and manicures for guests. Tours were given to prospective students as well. “The event was an exciting time and the students seemed to really enjoy themselves!” said Executive Director Patrick Donovan.
