The Empire Beauty School of Grand Rapids, MI, is situated about 0.7 miles north of the I-96 Expressway at the intersection of Plainfield and 4 Mile Road NE near Bud & Stanley's Pub & Grill.

Grand Rapids Empire Beauty School has been preparing future beauty professionals through their dedicated and hands-on training and education since 2000 at this progressive beauty school. Nearby parking is available for commuting students, as is public transportation from the Grand Rapids Area Transit Authority. Local gas stations and shopping areas include Speedway Gas Station, Meijer, Walgreens, and Save-A-Lot. Grand Rapids Empire Beauty School students have the opportunity to participate in local events benefiting the community as well as contributing to real-world training. Some of these events include day of beauty services for local patrons, fundraising benefits and more. Proceeds from Empire's National Day of Beauty event benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also may participate in local and national competitions, as well as the school's own beauty shows to highlight the students' skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to the beauty industry, as well as beauty workshops headed by industry professionals, mentoring and students also are able to network and interview with salon leaders and representatives to further their career objectives.
