The Empire Beauty School of Portage, MI, is found on Constitution Boulevard just south of West Milham Road and I-94. And conveniently just one mile west of the Southland Mall.

Portage Empire Beauty School has offered hands-on cosmetology training for future beauty professionals since 2000 at this modern beauty school. Nearby parking is available for commuting students, as is public transportation from the Metro Transit. The Southland and Crossroads Malls are within close proximity of the school. Local gas stations and numerous restaurants and shopping areas are available for students and near the school. Area day care centers may offer services for parents attending the beauty school such as Gardner School and Second Presbyterian School. Our Grand Rapids location also offers flexible evening classes for busy students.

Portage Empire Beauty School students have the opportunity to participate in local events benefiting the community as well as contributing to real-world training. Some of these events include day of beauty services for local patrons, fundraising benefits and more. Proceeds from Empire's National Day of Beauty event benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also may participate in local and national competitions, as well as the school's own beauty shows to highlight the students' skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to the beauty industry, as well as beauty workshops headed by industry professionals, mentoring and students also are able to network and interview with salon leaders and representatives to further their career objectives.
