The Bloomington Empire Beauty School is conveniently located off of I-35 West at the intersection of Lyndale Avenue and 98th Street (County Road 1).

Since 2000, the Bloomington, MN, Empire Beauty School has been training future beauty professionals for in-demand careers in the beauty business. Ample parking for commuting students is available at this state-of-the-art school, and public transportation is also available for students. The Mall of America is within a mile of the school, as well as nearby restaurants such as Denny's, Subway, Perkins, Starbucks, Dominos, Baker Square, and more. Festival Foods and Cub Foods are also within proximity of the school. The Rainbow Montessori Learning Center and Children's House are nearby child care centers.

The Bloomington Empire Beauty School students are offered additional real-world training and education as they participate in special events, such as fashion shows, beauty shows, competitions, fundraising events, community involvement, and more. The students also participate in Empire's National Day of Beauty event, which benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also have the opportunity to take part in local and national competitions, as well as their own events to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo allows students to gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders. The Bloomington cosmetology school hosts their own graduation ceremonies and open house celebrations. Flexible evening classes are available at this location.
