The Empire Beauty School of Richmond, VA, is situated in West Broad Commons on West Broad Street between Tuckernuck Drive and Homeville Drive, just a mile and a half north of I-64.

Since 2005, the Richmond, VA, Empire Beauty School has been training and educating cosmetology students in preparation for rewarding and successful careers in the beauty industry. Ample parking is available for commuting students, as is public transportation from Bus line, Greater Richmond Transit Center (GRTC). Local shopping and restaurants are nearby the school such as Burger King, India K Raja, Arby's, Chik-fil-a, Zorbas, Wendy's, Food Lion, David's Bridal, TJ Maxx, Rugged Warehouse, Babies R Us, Value City Furniture, Party City, and Citgo Gas Station.

The Midlothian Empire Beauty School students have the opportunity to participate in local events benefiting the community as well as contributing to real-world training. Some of these events include day of beauty services for local patrons, fundraising benefits and more. Proceeds from Empire's National Day of Beauty event benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also may participate in local and national competitions, as well as the school's own beauty shows to highlight the students' skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to the beauty industry, as well as beauty workshops headed by industry professionals, mentoring and students also are able to network and interview with salon leaders and representatives to further their career objectives.
