“Making a difference in the lives of people who are less fortunate is very heart felt at the Gwinnett Campus.  Our students were honored to be a part of this event, and felt their lives would be more successful by giving back to the community,” noted Edna Owens, Director of Education for the Gwinnett campus.

The Empire students and staff also joined other local volunteers to assemble and fill back packs with supplies for almost 1,000 children.  Two days later, the students provided over 100 children with free haircuts at the Atlanta Union Mission: My Sister’s House.  The children also received free health immunizations, as well as dental and vision screenings from health care professionals.
