Hair Olympics Take Center Stage During EventBlog ▸ Campuses | March 26, 2011
The Hurstbourne Empire Beauty School held there 100 Days of Empire Open House event revolving around the Olympics as they held their own hair Olympics at the school.
Students competed against one another for the bronze, silver and gold during a hair competition for rollers, perms, foils and more.
The students also offered tours of the school to those interested in a cosmetology education. Local community representatives also arrived for the festivities as well as area salon representatives.
Even better, the students and staff of the beauty school presented the Center for Women and Families a check in the amount of $2,150.59. The shelter was very appreciative for the donation from the students. Some of the residents of the facility were on hand for the check presentation and received complimentary beauty services from the students.
