The Lancaster, PA, Empire Beauty School hosted a Night of Beauty and Halloween party for several very special guests.
The students of the school adopted a shelter for victims of domestic abuse, and invited the women and children of the shelter to enjoy a night of Halloween.
“What a wonderful evening the women and children had along with the staff and students,” noted Marlin Morgan, Executive Director of the school. “We had 17 women who were getting their hair done while the 16 children participated in a Halloween party,” added Morgan.
The party consisted of many treats and games. The students painted the children’s faces and the children enjoyed painting pumpkins, as well. The Halloween guests even built a scarecrow and played a mummy game.
The women received gift bags of hair products by local salons, along with candy and treats for the kids.
