Waterville Students Give Back During The Holidays

by Empire Beauty School

waterville-MAThe students at the Waterville, ME, Empire Beauty School decided to bring some holiday cheer to a few needy families, through a local organization in the area, and with their very own giving tree.

“This holiday season we are proud to be working with the Family Violence Project to provide to those that are less fortunate,” said Diana Parker, Executive Director of the Waterville school.

The students created ornaments during the National Day of Beauty event to benefit Empire Gives Back.  Each ornament came with a small request from several needy families in the area, many of which have very young children.  Anyone who chooses an ornament and donates the items listed keeps the ornament as a keepsake and reminder of their generosity during the holidays.

“We are blessed to be working with you.  The Christmas’ of these families in need are enhanced because of you and your donors.  Thank you so much!” added a spokesperson from the Family Violence Project organization.
