Great! Big! Hair!

BlogBeauty Tips, Fashion Trends | April 5, 2012

While many women are cropping their locks for the spring, you can’t deny big hair is everywhere. From Adele to the Bardot bump, volume is what’s hot. Unfortunately, for those of us with fine hair, volume is…not. Sure, for a good portion of the 80′s I looked like an escapee from a Motley Crue video, but back in those days big hair was more of a “stick your finger in a light socket and hope for the best” process. Today’s styles demand shine, fullness, and a sexy tousle that just cannot be achieved by roasting your hair over a curling iron with Aqua-Net.

What are those of us with less than cooperative tresses to do? Go after what you want: Big Sexy Hair.  No matter what anyone tells you, when you want the looks that beauty professionals create, you have to use what beauty professionals use. My favorite product for creating volume in my impossibly flat hair is Big Sexy Hair What a Tease-Backcomb in a Bottle.

Backcomb in a Bottle is a spray that has elastic volume expanding resins which promises
WhatATease_Large instant big hair. In a world full of beauty hype, this is a product that delivers. You simply lift your sections of your hair, spray at the root, and you are defying gravity. What’s also great about the product is that it leaves your hair full and manageable. You are not sporting helmet head or the ” great wall of hair” look. Now, you better make sure you really want big hair when you use this product, because the hold lasts all day.

So, fine haired ladies and those that style fine hair- what are some tips and tricks you recommend to get the big, bouncy look?
