About the Monroeville Pittsburgh Beauty School
The Empire Beauty School of Monroeville, PA, is located in The Plaza on Mall Boulevard directly off of US-22 Business Route East.
The Monroeville, PA, Empire Beauty School has been preparing beauty student through hands-on training at our modern cosmetology school since 2000. Parking is available for students, as is public transportation from the Port Authority Bus Services. Local shopping and restaurants are nearby the school and include, Boston Market, TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Monroeville Mall, Waterfront, Miracle Mile Shopping, Giant Eagle, Target, Save A lot, and Shop 'N Save. Area child care centers which provide services for parents include Monroeville KinderCare, Tender Care Learning Centers, Penn Garden Day Care Center, Early Learning Institute the Turtle Creek Center, YMCA, Learning Tree Schools, Jewish East Suburban Preschool, and Kids Childcare Center.

Community Involvement
The Monroeville Empire Beauty School students have the opportunity to participate in local events benefiting the community as well as contributing to real-world training. Some of these events include day of beauty services for local patrons, fundraising benefits and more. Proceeds from Empire's National Day of Beauty event benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also may participate in local and national competitions, as well as the school's own beauty shows to highlight the students' skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to the beauty industry, as well as beauty workshops headed by industry professionals, mentoring and students also are able to network and interview with salon leaders and representatives to further their career objectives. Flexible evening classes are available at this school.
