About the Philadelphia Center City Beauty School
The city of Brotherly Love is home to the Center City Empire Beauty School of Philadelphia, PA, and located on 15th and Chestnut Streets.
Since 2000, the Center City Philadelphia location has been educating cosmetology students for successful careers as future professionals in the beauty industry. There is plenty of free parking near the school and students have access to public transportation by way of SEPTA, Greyhound bus lines and railroad around historic Philadelphia. Local eateries and shopping areas near our school include Pita Pit, Steaks on South, Taco Bell and more fast food restaurants so you can grab a quick bite between classes. Enjoy a leisure walk to Philly's incredible museums such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, or take in a show or a game at the Lincoln Financial Field where the Philadelphia Eagles play football.

The Philadelphia Center City Empire Beauty School students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own school’s events, to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to beauty industry leaders, one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and the opportunity to interview with prospective employers.

Community Involvement
The Center City Philadelphia Empire Beauty School students participate in community events which support their hands-on training. Additionally, the students perform a day of beauty services for local patrons. The proceeds of this special event benefit raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also hold special events at the school such as hair and fashion shows, graduation ceremonies, as well as the opportunity to participate in local and national competitions to highlight their skills and talents. At Empire's 2009 Future Professionals Expo students gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one on one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders.
