Adventures in Sexy Hair…The Green Bay Edition

by Empire Beauty School

My day started really early…3AM…I woke up to a wonderful smile and a pleasant ride to the airport. First time in 20 years my first plane was not late, but the second one was….hahaha…I got a cab from the airport and went straight into teaching…Thank you Green Bay for being patient… In my first class I showed a short sexy hair cut….and yes the class decided that the model wanted to be sexy at night and a professional during the day…The haircut was designed to fit her life style and career…The reason I thought this was a great idea was because everyone should learn to alter all hair cuts and colors to fit your clients no matter what..As I was working on the hair cut I was thinking of what we see as sexy…Well long bangs are pretty sexy…asymmetry is sexy…a short fitted back is sexy….I was sold!!! Deciding on a Sassoon Firefly mixed with a skater flop brought it home…

The second class I decided I wanted to see a dirty rock and roll hair cut and a romantic curl hair cut mixed together. The 80’s were full of this look. The Mtv generation in the early 80’s was based on Punk, Hair Metal, Cheesy Pop, and a little romance. When we think of Glam Metal or Hair Metal what comes to mind…hmmmmm…big hair….bangs…and lots of layers…Instead of the normal round shaped rocker hair I blended a glam style with a diamond shape, so it would have a more romantic feeling…The curly texture I styled into the hair also added to the Victorian look..So my question is to everyone reading this is: What colors would you use for either one of these looks…placement and tone?

You are the type of people I would hire.  Moving on I cabbed it back to the airport…Totally funny I went to security to check in and a sign said be back in an hour hahaha…Small airports are classic…cool thing was I went to find a place to sit until the security opened and found this make shift airport bar and what did I spot…yes a cheese shop…mmmmmmmm….I bought $30 in curds and went home a made poutine (curds, fries and beef gravy)………Thank you Green Bay for a fast and wonderful time!!!! And for a 107 degree day!!!!!!
