Guest Artist Richard Cardone Visits EBS in North Hills, PA

Matrix Artistic Designer and salon owner shares new techniques with students.

Matrix Artistic Designer Richard Cardone recently treated students at Empire Beauty School in North Hills, Pa to a day of fun and learning.

Empire Beauty School in North Hills, PA enjoyed a day of learning with Matrix Artistic Designer, Richard Cardone.

Cardone, who owns his own salon in Pittsburgh area, taught salon level students two new haircuts.

The first was called the W cut and is used on fine textured hair to give it some layering without taking away length.

The second was a disconnected female cut with which Cardone showcased the Matrix Spring line of color techniques, all of which are based on Denim.

During his demonstrations Cardone emphasized the importance of styling the hair for a polished look.

 

Cardone spent the day teaching students new cuts and color techniques. The salon owner has been in business in the Pittsburgh area for more than 30 years.

Cardone has owned his own salon, Richard Cardone Hair Designers for more than 30 years.

He graduated from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 1969, and has been a Matrix Artistic Designer for 21 years.

Cardone has won multiple competitions during his career and has styled stars like Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford.
