Empire Beauty School in Pineville, North Carolina, hosted their Celebrating Mom open house event with much excitement and celebration for mothers.
The students and staff offered refreshments, a fun-filled pep rally and free beauty services to the welcomed guests of the school. Students also entertained the guests during their local competition for Empire Education Group’s Future Professional Expo. The winners from the local round will compete in the national hair and beauty tradeshow hosted by Empire Education Group in Hershey, PA.
“Everyone loved the event,” said Executive Director of the Pineville cosmetology school, Vincent Morales.
The students also presented their adopted shelter from the local community, United Family Services Shelter for Battered Women, with a donation in the amount of $1,288.48. The students were excited to see how their hard work in fundraising went to a worthy cause. A representative from the shelter graciously accepted the check and commented on the continued relationship from the students and staff of the Empire Beauty School.
“We took away a lot from the day and were able to see how changing lives can truly build great relationships in our community,” added Morales.
The energizing day also sparked three new enrolling students to register at the school.
