This newly constructed beauty school is located in the Gateway Crossing Shopping Center on West McDowell Road and North 99th Avenue, north of the Papago Freeway and I-10 or West of the Aqua Fina Freeway.

Avondale Empire Beauty School has been educating and training beauty students since 2008 in this state-of-the-art and modern cosmetology school. Plenty of parking is available for students and Valley Metro provides public transportation for commuting students. Several restaurants and shopping areas are nearby such as Best Buy, Old Navy, Panda Express, McDonalds, Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A, Wal-Mart, and much more.

Avondale Empire Beauty School students participate in community events which support their hands-on training in hair and business skills; such as performing a day of beauty services for local patrons to benefit the fight of domestic abuse to raising funds for local charities. The proceeds benefit raising awareness about domestic abuse. Avondale beauty students may also participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own beauty shows to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to the beauty industry, experience one on one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders.
