The Louisville, KY, Empire Beauty School is located on Dixie Highway near Upper Hunters Trc and one mile south off I-264 and approximately five miles off Gene Snyder (I-265).

Our Louisville Empire Beauty School has been preparing future beauty professionals for careers in the beauty industry since 2000. Parking is available for commuting students, as is local transportation from TARC. Local eateries and shopping areas include Wendy's, KFC, Burger King, Mcdonald's, O'Charleys, Applebee's, Bob Evans, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Subway, Penn Station, Swifty Gas Station, Thornton Speedway, Kroger, Dixie Manor, and Southland Terrace. Child care centers, such Aldergate Child Development Center, Beechland Baptist Kindergarden & Day Care, Elsie's Day Care & Preschool, New Salem Child Care & Development Center, Pleasure Ridge Child Care Center, Pumpkin Patch Daycare Inc., Ridgewood Child Development Center, Southside Christian Child Care, Southside Christian Child Care, Helen's Day Care, Bethany United Methodist Church Day Care, Southside Christian Child Care, St. Lawrence Child Enrichment Center, and Southside Christian Child Care, are also near the school.

The Louisville Empire Beauty School students gain additional real-world training and education as they participate in special events, such as fashion shows, beauty shows, competitions, fundraising events, community involvement, and more. The students also participate in Empire's National Day of Beauty event, which benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students have the opportunity to participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own events to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo allows students to gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders. This Louisville Empire Beauty School hosts their own graduation ceremonies and open house celebrations.
