Education:
To become a Cosmetology Educator in Pennsylvania, you must complete 500 hours in a educator curriculum of a licensed cosmetology school. Once you finish your training and receive a diploma, you are able to take the PA State Cosmetology Teacher exam.
Exam Requirements:
The State Board examination consists of a theory only exam. The applicant must hold a cosmetology license to be eligible to sit for the examination.
