Students Aia Ibrahim and Bryanna Kelly were on hand to apply colorful, artistic face painting designs for visitors to the Empire Beauty School tent.  Other students from the Whitehall school also participated during the week-long festival.

“It was a great and fun experience and we made a lot of kids happy.  I also got to meet a lot of people, talk to them about school and I even got some salon clients to come in for services,” noted Ibrahim.

“I enjoyed the face painting and the children’s smiles.  I feel it was a good idea for us to be there so people could talk to students about attending Empire,” added Kelly.

Executive Director Susan Kettenburg continued, “I am proud that Empire Beauty School, specifically the Lehigh Valley campus, had the opportunity to support the CUT IT OUT foundation.  Half of the money raised through face painting, nail art and color hair clips will be donated to this great cause of helping those in abusive relationships.  The staff and students were wonderful and it would not have been as great of a success if not for them.  Thanks to all who helped!”
