Portland, Maine Empire Beauty School Featured in The Portland Press Herald Article: “Portland youths honored for determination to succeed”

Empire Beauty School in Portland, Maine was featured in The Portland Press Herald article, “Portland youths honored for determination to succeed.”  The article celebrates the achievements of two Portland youths who “have been recognized by the Maine Children’s Cabinet for their determination to succeed, the Governor’s Office announced.” One of these students is Lulu Dame, a cosmetology student “at Empire Beauty School in Portland.” She was “among eight Mainers who received Youth Who Rock awards last week at the Blaine House.”

Beauty school student Lulu Dame “earned her General Equivalency Diploma before beginning her studies at Empire Beauty School” located on Marginal Way.
