About the Bangor Beauty School
Located in the heart of Maine in the Broadway Shopping Center behind the Governor's Restaurant is the Empire Beauty School of Bangor, Maine, (formerly Pierre's School of Cosmetology).
The Bangor beauty school has been training cosmetology students since 2000 at this state-of-the-art school. There is plenty of free parking and the Bangor Bus Lines offer students public transportation access, while the Broadway Exxon and 7-Eleven gas stations provide convenient access for commuting students. The Hannaford's Supermarket and Bangor Mall are nearby to offer grocery and retail shopping. Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonald's and Pizza Hut are just a few of the local eateries within walking distance of the school's location.

The Bangor Empire Beauty School students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own school’s events, to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to beauty industry leaders, one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and the opportunity to interview with prospective employers.

Community Involvement
Bangor Empire Beauty School students have the opportunity to become part of numerous community events which support their hands-on training such as performing a day of beauty services for local patrons. The proceeds benefit raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also have the opportunity to participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own beauty shows to highlight their skills and talents. At Empire's Future Professionals Expo students continue to gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one on one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders.
