About the Charlotte Concord Beauty School
The Concord, NC, Empire Beauty School is situated at the intersection of Weddington Road and Pitts School Road Northwest, near Concord Mills Mall at the Shoppes in Kings Grant.
Since 2000, the Concord, NC, Empire Beauty School has been educating and training future beauty professionals for the beauty industry. Public transportation is available for students, as well as available parking near the school. There are several shopping areas such as the Concord Mills Mall, Food Lion and local eateries such as The Little Dooey, Firehouse Subs and Cinco De Mayo. The Charlotte Concord Empire Beauty School students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own school’s events, to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo offers students exposure to beauty industry leaders, one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and the opportunity to interview with prospective employers.

The Concord Empire Beauty School students are offered additional real-world and hands-on training and education as they participate in special events, such as fashion shows, beauty shows, fundraising events, community involvement, and much more. The students also participate in Empire's National Day of Beauty event, which benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse. The students also have the opportunity to attend and participate in local and national competitions, as well as their own events to highlight their skills and talents. Empire's Future Professionals Expo allows students to gain exposure to the beauty industry, experience one-on-one mentor workshops with beauty professionals and have the opportunity to interview with salon leaders. The Concord cosmetology school hosts their own graduation ceremonies and open house celebrations.
LaShrea graduated in July 2010 and opened her own salon that same Fall! The father of one of her guests was so impressed by LaSherea's professionalism that he invested in her dream of owning her own salon on Lake Norman.
