
Empire Beauty School in Elizabethtown, KY recently welcomed students from Grayson County High School in partnership with Three Corners Employment for an engaging campus visit focused on career exploration in the beauty industry and cosmetology school training opportunities.

Students toured the cosmetology school in Elizabethtown, KY, connected with instructors, and participated in hands-on learning activities designed to introduce them to cosmetology education and career pathways. Many students shared excitement about discovering what they may want to do in the future, and for several, the visit was more than a tour. It was an opportunity to explore a potential future in cosmetology training.

Career Planning Specialist Cindy Herzog met with students to walk them through what is included in their student kit on day one. She also provided an overview of the curriculum and daily student experience.
Students learned about key areas of cosmetology school training, including:
- Business skills for the beauty industry
- Salon services and hands-on technical training
- Salon floor operations and guest experience
- Inventory management and product knowledge
- Sanitation, safety, and professional standards
