Empire Beauty School's fun and interactive classes are conducted by trained and licensed beauty educators. Our school has a student salon/clinic where you will work on real clients while you learn to build your own book of business. If you want a career with unlimited potential for creativity, flexibility, and making others feel more beautiful, the world of beauty is the perfect place for you.

Empire Beauty Schools are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), which holds its members to a higher standard of quality than non-accredited schools.

New Cosmetology classes start every three weeks.

We offer federal financial aid (FAFSA), grants, and even scholarships to those who qualify. Empire's financial aid team can walk you through the options.

Every Empire Beauty School is held to high standards. We are licensed in each state we call home, and maintain NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences) accreditation. This means that we uphold our reputation for excelling at educational performance and maintaining the quality of your education at all of our schools.

COSMETOLOGY – 1500 HOURS
ESTHETICS – 600 HOURS
NAIL TECHNOLOGY – 300 HOURS
MAKEUP ARTISTRY – 150 HOURS

Student Kit

Our full student kit includes all tools, products and curriculum needed to complete our cosmetology program.


Students receive professional tools and products for use during school and beyond. Each area of our cosmetology program is supported with this complete kit, which includes mannequins, hair tools, skin, nail and makeup kit and more!

Getting To Our Manhattan Campus

Planning a visit to our Manhattan campus? Here’s what to know about school hours, parking, and getting to campus before you arrive.

Campus Hours

Monday to Wednesday – 9AM to 10PM
Thursday – 9AM to 9:30PM
Friday – 9AM to 5PM

Directions/Parking

Our Manhattan campus is easy to plan for before your visit. Trains:
34th and Broadway has access to the following trains:
Q, B, D, R, M, N, F
34th and 8th Avenue has access to the following trains:
A, C, 1, 2, 3
33rd and Park Avenue has access to the following train:

There are multiple bus lines that run up and down via 34th street. Please contact the MTA for desired bus lines.
Parking:
Parking is available at local parking facilities within the area. Parking is at your expense.
